Sunsetting DeviantArt - New Free Gallery Location
Hey all! I'm sure some of you have noticed that my DA gallery hasn't gotten anything new in the past few months. I've made the decision to focus on taking a few of my eggs out of other people's baskets in 2023. While I appreciate what I've built over the years here on DeviantArt, the site as a whole seems to be moving away from the values I hold and focusing more in other directions. In light of that and wanting to be more in control of my own content, I've started working with my team to built my own, self hosted gallery on my site: https://www.adorkastock.com/pose/ It's currently in the baby stages but I am already uploading 3 new poses per week to the gallery there. You can use the email subscription on the All Poses page to get a weekly or monthly digest of new poses sent to your inbox or just check in once in a while to see what's new! There are some Category sorting options at the top of the page now and there's a lot more that we're working on including keyword search

Why I am still on Deviantart and Love it
In a digital world teeming with options, there's one place that has my heart - DeviantArt. Let me tell you why it's so incredibly likable: 🎨 DeviantArt isn't just a platform; it's a creative sanctuary. Here, art is more than just content; it's a passionate journey. It's a place where we're free to express, experiment, and explore, and that's truly likable. 🤝 What's even more likable? The heartwarming community that thrives on support and constructive feedback. We're genuinely interested in helping each other grow, learn, and flourish. 🌍 DeviantArt celebrates diversity. It's a place for artists of all stripes - from beginners to pros, and from all corners of the globe. We're not here for fame; we're here to share our love for art, and that's pretty likable. 🎨 Unlike other platforms, ( bloody insta!) DeviantArt respects artistic freedom. It doesn't stifle creativity with censorship or algorithms. ❤️ Our shared love for art makes DeviantArt more than just a platform; it's a genuine
OK @JessaMar wrote, “I want to hear what fantasy stories are important to you” and i haven’t written a journal entry since the ThumbHub dAmnChat basically died, so here goes. When i was fourteen years old, i stayed for two weeks with my grandparents on holiday. They were not great readers (understatement) so i telephoned my brother-in-law, who was a children’s librarian, and asked him what books i should get. The next day i took the bus, and then the train under the river Mersey, into Liverpool. I used the bathroom on the platform and when i got out the stationseemed oddly deserted. There were areas cordoned off with yellow tape. A policeman suddenly shouted at me and guided me out: there had been a call from the IRA to say they’d planted a bomb there! Forgetting all ofmy grandfather’s overly complex directions in the stress of a bomb scare, i asked one of the policemen how to get to Philip Son & Nephew, the bookshop i was visiting; he pointed and said, It’s Right there. So i came
